My name is Raoul van Eijndhoven. I only started recently (2012) with Astronomy.
I use 2 different telescopes, a Skywatcher SkyMax 150 & an Ascension ED80 APO Triplet. For imaging I use an Altair Astro 183C Pro CCD camera.
With my current setup I am able to take relative long exposure images of about 4 -5 minutes. Longer does not make much sense due to the amount of light pollution in and around our town.
